Ice worlds and mountains is a photography collection of pictures from the cold and cragged environment. I am surprised every time to see the amount of life living in this hostile ecosystem. Ice and snow make photography extremely difficult due to the quick overexposure of the suspect, especially when the sun is out.
Additionally, the sub-zero temperatures are not just challenging for humans but also the camera gear. Once I was filming white ptarmigans in Banff Nationalpark. The weather was beautiful, but it had around -30 degrees Celsius, so the camera’s LCD froze, and I couldn’t see anymore! Fortunately, in the evening, the display worked fine again.
Most of the pictures of the ice worlds and mountains series were made in Canada!
