CAMERA EQUIPMENT

Photo & VIDEO EQUIPMENT

My camera journey began — how could it be any other way — with my parents’ analog camera. Even back then, my favorite places were Tiergarten Schönbrunn, Haus des Meeres, and the Gänserndorf Safari Park. Later on, thanks to my aunt, my gear grew to a Nikon D50 with several lenses. Luckily, both of my passions stayed with me over the years, and eventually I began to combine them. Then came my professional life, and with my own income came longer, farther journeys — and more expensive camera equipment. Over the years, more than 200,000 photos have accumulated on my hard drives.

UNDERWATER CAMERA EQUIPMENT

At some point, just for fun, I decided to get a diving certification — in Austria, of all places. After an ice-cold week in Lake Erlauf, I officially had my OWD. Coincidentally, a trip to the Philippines was already planned. I quickly borrowed a GoPro, packed my OWD card, and by my tenth dive ever I was already taking a camera underwater. From that point on, there was no turning back. The equipment became better, more expensive, and heavier. The trips became farther and longer. And the photos? They got better!
