I’ve been working as a focus puller / 1st AC for almost seven years, based in Vienna. During this time, I’ve been part of a wide variety of productions—ranging from series and feature films to commercials. Through these projects, I’ve developed solid experience with high-end camera systems such as ARRI, Sony and RED, as well as with complex setups and demanding shooting environments. My goal is to keep the technical side reliable so the DoP’s creative vision can remain front and center.
A formative chapter in my career began in 2019, when I moved to Hamburg to work as a 1st AC on the long-running series Großstadtrevier. The fast-paced, highly professional workflow taught me a lot: streamlined processes, a high shooting frequency, and a team that expects precision and dependability. After gaining valuable experience, I returned to Vienna in 2021, where I’ve since supported numerous productions and continued to refine my approach.
On set, it’s important to me that the camera operator can focus fully on composition and storytelling. I prepare thoroughly, maintain calm and clear workflows, and step in wherever the situation demands it. For me, good assistance means combining technical expertise, organization, and strong teamwork.
In addition to my work as a focus puller / 1st AC, I also offer specialized expertise as an underwater camera operator. Underwater filming brings together technical precision, unique safety requirements, and its own visual language—exactly the combination that continues to fascinate me. In the coming years, I also plan to deepen my experience with analog film and explore analog workflows and aesthetics more intensively.
